ibnchannel.id – Carrying the theme “Grow-Well in Bali: Where Wellness Becomes Beauty”, Melali MICE will hold a world-class event to strengthen Bali as a world health and beauty destination titled Bali Wellness and Beauty (BWB) Expo 2025.
According to Dr. Ketut Jaman, S.S., M.Si, Managing Director of Melali Bali DMC & Melali MICE, the event which will be held on June 27-29, 2025, now is the time for all parties to move to make Bali a world beauty and health destination, considering that almost all supporters of the creation of world-class wellness destinations are in Bali.
“Bali has its own uniqueness including culture and natural wealth that can encourage the development of the health and wellness tourism sector. In addition, local traditions such as Balinese pengotan can be a unique attraction,” said Ketut Jaman during a press conference held at The Lotus Building Melali MICE, By Pass Ngurah Rai Bali, Monday, May 19, 2025.
The press conference was also attended by the Head of Marketing for the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Ida Ayu Indah Yustikarini SS, M.Hum, Co Founder and Director of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2025 Dr. Diah Permana Tirtawati MBA.
Ketut Jaman further said that another driving factor is the development of infrastructure in Bali with international standards such as the International Hospital in the Sanur Special Economic Zone which is expected to reduce the interest of Indonesian citizens to seek medical treatment abroad and at the same time attract foreign nationals to come to Bali for tourism and treatment.
“All of that capital requires comprehensive collaboration between government stakeholders and all tourism elements, especially in providing wellness services such as spas in the tourism industry including resort hotels and villas, which are also a great potential in encouraging the development of Wellness Tourism. With this collaboration, it is hoped that it can be integrated into more complex medical services,” he emphasized again.
In line with Ketut Jaman, Dr. Diah Permana Tirtawati, who also serves as Marketing Director of PT Melali MICE, said that this event is a strategic platform for holistic health industry players, natural beauty, spas and traditional therapies, to modern beauty technology from within and outside the country.
He said that the committee is targeting the presence of more than 2,000 visitors during the three-day event. This expo is expected to open up new business opportunities while strengthening Bali’s image as a healthy and sustainable lifestyle destination.

“These topics will be discussed in depth through talk show sessions and workshops with leading experts in their fields,” said Dr. Diah Permana.
