ibnchannel.id – South Kuta Police Chief AKP I Komang Agus Dharmayana, S.I.K., M.Si. together with his staff visited the Guna Buddha Temple in the Puja Mandala area, Benoa Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Monday (12/5/2025) afternoon. This activity was carried out in order to secure the celebration of Waisak Day.
During the visit, the Police Chief was accompanied by the Sabhara Committee and the South Kuta Police Provost. They were greeted directly by the Head of the Guna Buddha Temple, Mrs. Mahayani.
“We are here to ensure that the Waisak Day worship runs safely and smoothly. We also received personnel support from the Denpasar Police,” said AKP Agus Dharmayana.
In addition to security, the Police Chief also appealed to Buddhists to maintain order and not be involved in drug abuse or criminal acts. He also conveyed his greetings for Waisak Day to the people who celebrate.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Guna Buddha Vihara, Mrs. Mahayani, expressed her appreciation for the police’s attention. She emphasized that her party fully supports the Police’s duties in maintaining public security and order.
The visit activity is part of the routine agenda of the South Kuta Police in maintaining relations with the community and creating a harmonious and conducive environment in the South Kuta jurisdiction.***
