ibnchannel.id – Persis Solo have continued their activity in the mid-season transfer window of the 2025/26 BRI Super League by officially signing Croatian centre-back Luka Dumancic.
The defender joins the Laskar Sambernyawa until the end of the season after previously playing for FK Žalgiris Vilnius in Lithuania’s A League.
Dumancic’s arrival comes as Persis are still battling to climb out of the lower end of the standings, with the club hoping his experience will immediately strengthen their defensive line and add leadership at the back.
The 28-year-old defender expressed his excitement after completing the move, praising the club’s professionalism.
“I am very happy to join Persis. This is a very professional club, and I’m proud to be given the opportunity to play here,” Dumancic said.
Dumancic made it clear that his primary objective is to help Persis remain in the Super League. While acknowledging the challenges ahead, he remains confident in the squad’s ability to improve.
“My first target is to help Persis stay in the Super League and collect as many points as possible. We have to fight together,” he added.
He also urged his teammates to remain confident despite the team’s current situation, emphasizing trust as a key factor in turning things around.
“We have to believe in each other. With trust and hard work, I believe this team can get through this difficult moment,” he explained.
In addition, Dumancic called on Persis supporters to continue backing the team, stressing the importance of fan support regardless of circumstances.
“To the fans, please keep believing in the club and the players. Your support means a lot to us in any situation,” he stressed.
