ibnchannel.id – The staging of the 2025 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit demonstrates a strong commitment to local community involvement in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), which is critical to the success of this major racing event.
A total of 2,000 NTB volunteers have been recruited, and they have been participating in a unique training program since August 28th, which will run until the event’s conclusion in early October.
The volunteers will work in a variety of strategic areas that will serve as the foundation for the 2025 Pertamina Grand Prix in Indonesia. They will be assigned to numerous critical sectors, including Customer Service (CS) and Workforce Management (WM), Marshals, Crowd Control (CC), CC Redemption, Shuttle Bus Liaison Officers (LO), and hospitality services at various levels (Luxury Tent, Royal Box, and VIP Deluxe). They also contribute to Merchandise, the Media Center, Government Relations (Govrel), Logistics, Dorna Podium & Accreditation, Non-Dorna Accreditation, IT, Sponsorship, and ESG.
With rigorous training and strategic deployment, the presence of NTB volunteers is expected to not only help the event function smoothly, but also to improve The Mandalika’s and NTB’s reputation as a world-class host.

All volunteers received thorough training to match international MotoGP™ standards before heading to the field. This course covers a variety of critical topics, including:
Hospitality training includes international standards for serving guests, VIPs, and managing hospitality areas.
Crowd Control & Safety Induction: controlling spectator flow, emergency evacuation protocols, and comprehending FIM and Dorna safety regulations. Technical Marshal and Race Support: interpreting flag codes, resolving on-track incidents, and liaising with Race Control.
Customer Service and Public Communication: communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and service orientation for both domestic and foreign audiences.
Logistics and IT assistance Training includes managing products distribution, controlling the ticketing system, and providing information technology assistance throughout the event.
The Media & Government Relations Workshop will introduce the media center, communication protocols with the media, and processes for assisting government guests.
Environmental Awareness and ESG: comprehending green events, lowering carbon footprints, and ensuring Mandalika’s long-term viability as a sustainable tourism destination.
The Indonesian Pertamina Grand Prix is not only a world-class racing event, but it also provides an excellent opportunity for the West Nusa Tenggara Province to develop high-quality human resources.
