ibnchannel.id – The Young Engineers Forum of The Institution of Engineers Indonesia (FIM PII) has solidified its commitment to regional and global collaboration by officially signing a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). This strategic partnership, sealed during the Mid-Term Meeting of the annual Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO) in Da Nang, Vietnam, sets the stage for a new era of professional development and knowledge exchange among young engineers across ASEAN.
Ir. Isditya Putra, IPM, Chairman of FIM PII, highlighted the significance of the partnership. “This collaboration with IEM is a critical step in strengthening regional ties and opening doors for our young engineers to engage in global initiatives,” he said. “FIM PII is actively seeking to forge similar partnerships with engineering associations throughout ASEAN, Asia, the Pacific, and beyond. We believe these international alliances are essential to broaden the influence and impact of Indonesia’s young engineers on the world stage.”
A key focus of this collaboration is addressing pressing global challenges, including environmental sustainability and the transition to New and Renewable Energy (NRE). Ir.
