ibnchannel.id – As part of its efforts to strengthen ties and synergy with media partners, InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the manager of The Nusa Dua tourism area, held a media gathering titled “Green Journey The Nusa Dua” in Kedisan Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali.
This event was organized in partnership with the Kedisan Mandiri Farmers Group, which has been accredited as an official organic farmer in Bali Province and is well-known for its dedication to implementing sustainable agricultural practices.
This farmer group is also part of the ITDC’s community development initiative, which seeks to promote local community empowerment and long-term agricultural development in the areas surrounding the managed area. I Made Agus Dwiatmika, the general manger of “We want our media partners to not only know The Nusa Dua as a world-class tourist destination, but also to see how ITDC remains committed to expanding its social and environmental impact through cross-sector collaboration, including with local farming communities.”
“Green Journey The Nusa Dua” is a gesture of gratitude and camaraderie to our media partners for their assistance and active participation in broadcasting positive information about The Nusa Dua area. Furthermore, this action demonstrates ITDC’s dedication to supporting green tourism and sustainable development in Bali through active partnership with local communities.
On this occasion, participants were invited to experience organic rice planting, explore lush green rice fields, and understand the philosophy and spirit of sustainability upheld by the Kedisan farmers. The event also included traditional Kedisan dishes prepared by members of the farming group, as well as door prizes as a token of appreciation.
As a follow-up to this commitment, ITDC donated two cows to the Kedisan Mandiri Farmers Group. They are expected to be used in the composting process, supporting the organic farming system being developed, and also as breeding stock, which is expected to increase the group’s cattle population.
Dwiatmika added, “We greatly appreciate the warm welcome and extraordinary collaboration from the Kedisan Mandiri Farmers Group. We hope that through this activity, the harmony between the tourism and sustainable agriculture sectors can continue to be strengthened.”
