ibnchannel.id – The Golo Mori Tourism Area continues to solidify its position as a premier MICE-based (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) destination that combines natural beauty, local culture, and world-class facilities. One of the key milestones in the development of this area is the activation of two flagship programs starting on July 21, 2025: the art performance “The Legend of Golo Mori Hill” and the culinary experience NUKA Grill Fest.
These two programs were first introduced during the Travel Agent Gathering organized by the Golo Mori Convention Center (GMCC) on October 12, 2024, at the NUKA Beach Club, and received a positive response from various GMCC partner travel agents in Labuan Bajo and surrounding areas.
The Legend of Golo Mori Hill is a dance performance that tells the legend of the origin of Golo Mori Hill, presented through beautiful choreography performed by young artists from the Tate Kind Art Studio. This performance is held regularly every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM WITA at the Teno Amphitheater, GMCC. It is open to the public, with tickets priced at Rp150,000 per person, which includes free access to the GMCC area along with snacks and light refreshments.
GMCC, through its operator ITDC Nusantara Utilitas, has officially collaborated with the Tate Kind Art Studio to present this performance regularly every Sunday as a form of ongoing collaboration that supports the preservation of local culture and empowers the art community in Labuan Bajo.
Complementing the tourism experience, NUKA Grill Fest offers an exclusive dining sensation with a selection of BBQ menus, ranging from fresh seafood and premium meats to exquisite desserts. This program is available every Sunday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM WITA at the NUKA Beach Club, priced at Rp350,000 per person, while enjoying the stunning sunset views.
“Today marks an important milestone for us as it signifies the first activation and commercialization of The Golo Mori’s signature attractions. Through the integration of local arts, culture, and cuisine, we aim to offer an authentic experience that enriches travelers’ journeys while strengthening the area’s position as a sustainable, marine-based MICE tourism destination,” said Wahyuaji Munarwiyanto, General Manager of The Golo Mori.
This initiative is part of a strategic area development by InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Group, which aims to present The Golo Mori as a destination that not only offers world-class event venues but also a vibrant, empowered, and collaborative experience.
“With these two flagship programs now active, The Golo Mori is optimistic about attracting more tourists and industry partners to explore the area’s authentic, inclusive, and globally competitive tourism potential at the heart of Labuan Bajo,” Aji concluded.***
