ibnchannel.id – Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit is gearing up to witness the fierce competition among Indonesia’s top car racers in the Indonesia Touring Car Race (ITCR) National Championship, scheduled to take place on July 18–20, 2025.

This year’s first and second rounds of the ITCR National Championship will feature top-tier national racers, along with dozens of young talents from across the country competing in several premier classes, including ITCR 1200, ITCR 1500, 3000 Turbo Novice – Advance, and entry-level Brio and Agya classes.

This prestigious touring car race is not just a speed contest, but also a test of team innovation, pit stop strategies, and racer endurance in conquering the 4.3 km-long Mandalika Circuit.

ITCR and Mandalika’s Strategic Role in National Motorsport

MGPA President Director, Priandhi Satria, shared his views on the upcoming ITCR National Championship at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.

“ITCR 2025 is not just a motorsport competition, but also a part of the development process for national racers and a validation of technical standards and sportsmanship on an international-grade track like the Mandalika Circuit. This event bridges industry, communities, and the general audience in supporting the motorsport ecosystem in Indonesia.

The ITCR 2025 at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit proves that Indonesia has great potential in the development of car racing sports. Supported by world-class infrastructure, enthusiastic participants, and the commitment of organizers like MGPA, the future of Indonesian motorsport looks increasingly bright.”

In the ITCR 1200 class, names such as Avila Bahar (Honda Racing Indonesia), Fadli Ananda and Muh Basyuni (P-Five Racing Indonesia), and Akheela Chandra Dewanto (Rehobat Racing Team) are set to compete. Other standout racers include Fitra Eri, Andiko Ardi Purnomo, Rayhan Danendra, and Moch Herdy Fauzy, all driving Honda City Hatchbacks.

The ITCR 1500 class features the legendary Alvin Bahar (Honda Racing Indonesia), competing with young racers like Raden Cahyo Adhi Nugroho (BMW Team Astra), Hendra Kamdani from SAV Motorsport, and Christian De A. Pandiangan (Indostar Motorsport) with a Mercedes-Benz A45.

In the 3000 Turbo Novice – Advance class, BMW M2 dominates the lineup, with participants such as Adhanny A.A(Rizqy Motorsport), Michael Jorgy Junus and George Gani (Dplus Racing Team), as well as Hery Wirawan and Fendy Yoman (Wish Motorsport).

This category also includes Syakuat Takuma Soejatmo from Banten (Dplus Racing Team) and Avan Abdullah (ULTIMA Engineplus), who delivered an impressive performance.

Meanwhile, the Honda Brio and Toyota Agya entry-level classes are no less exciting. Young racers such as Kenzie Habib Nurfansya (KENZSpeed Racing), Amato Rudolph (Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia), Naufal Muhammad Rand Wardani H from Jakarta, and M. Priandhi Satria emphasized that all MGPA’s efforts align fully with the directives from ITDC, an entity under the InJourney Group, a state-owned enterprise operating in tourism and its supporting industries.

“Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit is a national asset that we must protect and grow together — professionally, with pride, and in the right way — for the good name of Indonesia.”

Priandhi also invited all elements of society, industry players, automotive communities, and other stakeholders to participate in realizing The Mandalika’s potential.

“Let’s contribute as much as possible to bring pride to Indonesia through the activities we hold at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit,” Priandhi concluded.***
