ibnchannel.id – To ensure the reliability and security of electricity services for the public, PT PLN (Persero) Bali Main Distribution Unit (UID) has established a strategic partnership with the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office.
The cooperation agreement was signed on Monday (July 14) at the PLN UID Bali Headquarters in Denpasar, as a form of synergy in the implementation of each institution’s duties and functions for the public interest.
Through this collaboration, PLN UID Bali and the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office will work together in legal assistance, institutional strengthening, securing strategic projects, and protecting assets and investments directly related to the provision of electricity services to the public.
Conducted According to Legal Principles & Transparency
General Manager of PLN UID Bali, Eric Rossi Priyo Nugroho, emphasized that this collaboration is part of PLN’s efforts to ensure that all processes in electricity development and services are conducted according to legal principles and transparency.
“Our main goal is to ensure that the people of Bali receive safe, fair, and sustainable electricity services. Through this collaboration, we aim to protect every stage of PLN’s operations—whether in development, investment, or asset management—from potential legal disruptions and obstacles that could harm the public,” said Eric.
Under the scope of this agreement, both parties will collaborate in providing legal assistance and advice, exchanging data and information, and securing the development of strategic electricity projects and investments. Moreover, the partnership also includes asset recovery and capacity building for human resources through training, seminars, and joint discussion forums.
The Head of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Ketut Sumedana, S.H., M.H., welcomed this partnership as a form of state presence in ensuring the continuity of basic public services, particularly electricity.
“We are ready to cooperate with PLN in providing legal support, especially to ensure that the development of strategic infrastructure proceeds safely and in accordance with regulations. This is crucial because electricity is a basic need for society, and the state must be present to guarantee its distribution,” said Sumedana.***
