ibnchannel.id – InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) today, Friday (June 20), officially began the construction of Bale Seccha and Seccha Club with a groundbreaking ceremony held at Lot MHS 1, The Mandalika area. These two projects are part of ITDC’s strategy to develop an active lifestyle and community-driven destination that is currently being developed by ITDC.

ITDC Operations Director Wenda R. Nabiel stated, “The development of Bale Seccha and Seccha Club is ITDC’s effort to create new spaces that foster a healthy lifestyle culture and strengthen social connectivity. Bale Seccha and Seccha Club are designed as a community-based retreat hotel and sports lifestyle hub. Through the synergy of these two projects, ITDC hopes to create a sustainable tourism ecosystem that integrates relaxation, sports activities, and social connectivity into one holistic experience.”

The development of Bale Seccha and Seccha Club is designed to strengthen The Mandalika’s positioning as a world-class tourism destination. Bale Seccha is a boutique retreat hotel that offers a relaxing atmosphere, complete with wellness facilities such as yoga and pilates.

Built on a one-hectare site, Bale Seccha consists of 30 rooms and is the second phase of the first Bale Seccha development, which has successfully operated in the Mandalika Bazaar area. The presence of Bale Seccha is a response to the high demand for retreat-style lodging accommodations.

The Function of Seccha Club

Meanwhile, Seccha Club will be a community and lifestyle center offering a variety of sports and culinary facilities in one integrated area. It will feature three international-standard padel courts, which are expected to be completed before the IndonesianGP 2025 event on October 3-5, 2025.

The addition of padel courts is expected to attract not only tourists and sports communities but also serve as a training ground for racers competing at The Mandalika. In addition to the padel facilities, Seccha Club will also feature an open basketball court directly connected to the Mandalika Bazaar area.

“With a collaborative spirit and continuous innovation, ITDC continues to bring new breakthroughs that support local economic growth, community empowerment, and enhance the image of The Mandalika as The Ultimate Lifestyle Sportstainment Destination. Today’s groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of a meaningful transformation for the area,” concluded Wenda.
