ibnchannel.id – Bali Governor Wayan Koster has invited all university rectors to work together to develop superior human resources (HR) in Bali through the One Family, One Graduate program. This brilliant initiative is a collective dedication to building the future of Bali’s younger generation while strengthening Balinese civilization.

The program, targeted at underprivileged families in Bali, is set to begin in August 2025. Full support from 26 public and private universities in Bali was evident during a meeting with Governor Koster on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Kertha Sabha Meeting Room, Jayasabha, Denpasar.

“All rectors support the Governor of Bali’s program because it has a noble purpose for the future of Bali’s young generation. The One Family, One Graduate program is prioritized for high school/vocational school graduates from underprivileged families across Bali,” said Governor Wayan Koster on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Naturally, the public is curious about when this program will be implemented, as all krama (Balinese people) from low-income families stand to benefit from it.

This brilliant two-term program by the Governor of Bali has received full support from 26 public and private universities in Bali.

On that occasion, Governor Koster announced that the program would begin implementation in August 2025, in line with the new student admissions period.

Each student selected for the One Family, One Graduate program will receive a monthly living allowance of IDR 1,400,000 per student.

The Governor also assigned a special team to draft the technical implementation guidelines to ensure the program runs accurately and sustainably.

“This is part of Bali’s commitment to a more competitive, just, and civilized future,” said Koster.

In detail, Governor Koster explained the implementation schemes. Several approaches will be adopted:

  1. University rectors will provide special admission quotas with free tuition for 25–100 students.
  2. Public universities will offer reduced tuition fees under the Single Tuition Fee scheme:
    • Category 1: IDR 500,000 per semester
    • Category 2: IDR 1,000,000 per semester
  3. Bali State Polytechnic will offer a Fast Track 2-year diploma program, lasting three semesters with a total fee of only IDR 1,500,000. Graduates will receive a vocational diploma and are expected to be job-ready.

The Governor, originally from Sembiran Village, also shared details of the Bali Provincial Government’s financial support for students under the One Family, One Graduate program. Beneficiaries will receive IDR 1,400,000 monthlythroughout their studies to cover housing, food, and transportation.

“The program will start with the new student intake in August 2025. The monthly aid of IDR 1,400,000 per student until graduation will be funded by the 2025 Bali Provincial Government Semesta Berencana Budget (APBD),” said Governor Wayan Koster.***
