ibnchannel.id – The spirit of nationalism was ignited at the Puputan I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Field Stage in Denpasar on Sunday (Redite Wage, Krulut), June 1, 2025. On the evening of the commemoration of Pancasila’s Birthday and the opening of Bung Karno Month in Bali Province, Putri Koster recited a poem titled Sumpah Kumbakarna by Dhenok Kristianti at the Nusantara Cultural Performance event organized by Rumah Kebangsaan dan Kebhinnekaan Pasraman Satyam Eva Jayate.
Accompanied by the gamelan music from Seniman Polos (Sempol) SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar, Putri Koster’s performance, known as the “Penyair Mantra,” successfully hypnotized thousands of spectators. Through her voice, she conveyed messages of patriotism and dedication to the Indonesian nation.
In her statement, Putri Koster emphasized that the poem she recited was filled with the meaning of nationalism.
“Whether the king is right or wrong, this country must be defended. That should be the way we behave as children of the nation, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia must be defended,” she said, also known as a multitalented artist, receiving a round of applause from the thousands of people present.
In addition to Putri Koster’s performance, the Pancasila Birthday and Bung Karno Month commemoration night was also filled with various art performances. Among them were Tri Utami’s performance with Dewa Budjana, who performed Nyanyian Dharma, the XXX Band, the Bondres Sengap & Bolale group, and Agung Wirasutha.
This Nusantara Cultural Performance also featured an oration of Bung Karno delivered by students in Bali Province, as well as various regional dances, such as Sekar Jempiring dance, Kalimantan dance, Sumatera dance, NTT dance, and performances by children with disabilities from Denpasar City. The entire event proceeded with enthusiasm, evoking a sense of patriotism in the community.***
